FROM THE AIR

When taking a cab from the airport, the trip will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. As a precaution, it is best to ask the driver, prior to leaving the airport, to charge the meter and give you a receipt. Tell the driver Hostel Florenc address: Pod Výtopnou 2, Praha 8.

If you are the adventurous type and prefer to tackle Prague’s amazing (and quite simple) public transport, take bus 119 from the airport terminal to Nádraží Veleslavín metro station. From here, take the green metro line to Muzeum metro station. At Muzeum, change to the red metro line and go two stops to FLORENC.

The entire journey by public transport should take around 50 minutes. If you travel by public transport you need to buy a 32 CZK ticket (90 minutes) per person and a 16 CZK ticket if you have large bags (70cm x 40cm x 25cm). Make sure you stamp your ticket at the bus from the airport.

FROM THE GROUND

We do not recommend taking a cab from train stations, as this is where dishonest drivers tend to wait for unsuspecting tourists.

Prague’s public transport system is easy to navigate, so it’s best to use the metro, tram or bus to get to Hostel Florenc . You will need an 24 CZK (30 minute) ticket per person if you are coming from the train stations (Hlavní Nádraží, Nádraží Holešovice). If you are traveling with large bags, you should also have a 16 CZK ticket per piece of “over-sized” luggage.

From the Main Train Station (Hlavní Nádraží): Take Metro C (red line) in direction Letňany, 1 stop to Florenc station.

From Holesovice Train Station (Nádraží Holešovice): Take Metro C (red line) in direction Háje, 2 stops to Florenc.

The hostel is located at the back of Florenc Bus Terminal (also bus station No. 207 - Pernerova)
